*...the way forward...
Not sure there's anyone still out there, which is not at all surprising, given the rather extreme lack of posting over the past couple of years.
Anyway. Here I sit, once more about to embark on a regime of diet and (mostly) exercise; completely fed up that I've put back on most of the 4-stone weight loss I achieved 3 years ago, I'm rapidly approaching 40, and I really do not want to continue in this vein of yo-yo dieting, and not exercising. I feel very strongly that I need to be setting a better example to my beautiful girls: I don't want them ever to be in this cycle that I've become used to. I'd like to be much fitter than I am, as I know my mental health is much improved when I'm physically fit.
So, I've taken the plunge and signed up to Jillian Michaels' online plan; the cost is around $4 per week, and I've signed up for an initial 13-week plan. My goal is to lose around 40lbs (not in 13 weeks!!!), and this time keep it off by continuing to exercise.
Even if no-one is reading this, I'd like to keep a journal of my progress, and this seems as good a place as any to record my thoughts, goals and frustrations!!!
