*it's oh so quiet...*

...because the little girls are spending the night at grandma and grandad's! They were collected this morning, just before lunch-time, and Ed will go and bring them home tomorrow morning. Consequently, I have had a colossally lazy day, and have achieved very little. Pootled in to town this afternoon to buy a birthday present for my friend Sue (mum of baby Elizabeth, born on August 18th); Rich, Sue, Victoria and Elizabeth are coming for a meal tomorrow evening, as it's Sue's birthday tomorrow, and with a new babe, I didn't think she should be cooking on her special day! Was able to get her a very pretty bag - big enough for all the extras she will have to carry with her whilst Elizabeth is tiny. Give me a kick up the butt, ladies; I still haven't made any headway with the clearing of my desk space, and I really DO want to get down to some crafting now, so I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and do it tomorrow. Too late to start anything tonight!
