Our invitation to Jase and Beck's 'indian summer' party arrived
ages ago, and I have been looking forward to it all summer! Anyway, the day finally arrived today, and we set off for deepest Wiltshire on an afternoon that promised to be distinctly
unsummery, but the weather turned out to be an irrelevance, as the company and the food were so delightful that the weather didn't matter. And it didn't rain, which, in September in the UK, is about as much as you can ask for! Thank you, Beck and Jase, very much - we all had a fantastic afternoon and evening.
My food photography is still in its infancy, so please bear with me!!
Dolly daydream enjoying the party...
Anja investigating the beautifully prepared children's lunch and surprise bags...
As for me, I am SO tired!! Just about to get in to bed and read the paper...

Sounds like a lovely day - Lovely photos as always xxx
What a great party! I love Indian summers here too- perfect time of year. I love the photo of the pink shoies on the wrong feet. My daughter does that all the time and we call it banana feet. Thanks for the comment on my whiplash hat. If you make one, I would love to see it!
WOW! That party food looked GOOD!
What a lovely idea - might have one myself next year - bit late now lol!
